Hi Scotty I recently purchased a 2017 Honda civic hatchback 1.5L turbo. It's a knock around car just for work, which is a 20 mile round trip. I sometimes have a problem starting the car after sitting for the night or the day. I have to turn the key all the way and smack smack the dash for it to start. Any ideas thanks.

The ignition switch may have some issues. Instead of smacking the dash, have toy tried wiggling the key when you have a start issue.

That’s odd for a 4yr old Civic.
Was the car ever in a wreck or been flooded before?
