What do these DTCs mean - U1281, U0199

2017 Honda Pilot EX, 98,000 km, Canada.

I recently bought a BlueDriver scan tool and first thing I saw playing with it was two codes: U1281 and U0199.

Any ideas what are these and how can I fix them? Or what I need to look at?

After some time searching in google I found a Rigdeline group with similar codes and same scan tool. Someone said they might be false communication codes from the app / generic scan tool and honestly, everything seems good with the car, I haven't noticed anything weird (but it's also true that I don't know what to look at 😁).

Also, in a Facebook Pilot group, someone had something related to windows and alarm systems with U0199 in a 2017 pilot.

Thanks

still under warranty?

Yes, thanks. This is what I found on Google but I am not sure what to do about it myself without taking it to the dealer.

I have no engine light on (not service light either) and the wiring seems fine too. No issues with keyless control either.

change your fob battery

Oh, interestingly enough, I replaced both remote car keys batteries one month ago (before scanning the car). Do you think this might be related to that somehow? Thanks!

sometimes they need to be re-synchronized after changing a battery. Are the remotes working?

Yep, both remotes are working. I am using BlueDriver scan tool and I think it doesn't have a sync option, but I will keep researching! Thanks for your help.

You could try a locksmith in your area to see if it's something simple.  The dealer would be my last resort.

Thanks!
