I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox premier awd 1.5 turbo with 72,000 miles. it’s in great shape and doesn’t burn a drop of oil, seems to be in good shape but i just have a few concerns. 1. at idle, the rpm’s ever so slightly go up and down, but not enough to hear it in the engine. 2. above 20 mph i hear a faint whistle or whirring noise only when pressing the gas and doesn’t change with all 6 gears, only speed. it does need new tires and an alignment. 3. when i brake the rpm’s fluctuate when coming to a stop. these are just a few concerns i want an idea of where to start.

Check for vacuum lights first vacuum lights will often make the idle last night and make whistling noises. Just go to YouTube and type in finding engine vacuum leak Scotty Kilmer and watch it
