Hey uncle Scotty, how you doing?

Our Car's a 23 years old Toyota Corona 1997, we bought it with most things are changed from the car, and the previous owner didn't do a great job taking care of the car. It runs on just water in the cooling system, bought cheap suspension parts and now it rides horrible. Alternator's changed to a bigger one, throttle to the air filter hose is different, mags has been switched to 17 inches from the original 14 inches, the coil spring is lowered and has been cut, the shock absorbers are worn out too, aircon's directed to the fan/blower buttons, then recently our right axle separated.

What's your opinion on these things? Should we change it all back to all stock parts?

Maybe all the lowering customization the car has made a lot of stress to the axles?

Thanks Uncle Scotty!

Wouldn't want to put too much money in an old car like that. Just maintain it and drive it as long as you can until it gets too expensive to repair. For your next car I'd go for one that's more stock as a daily driver

@jimbob
Thanks! Just thinking of making it as simple as possible. Just gonna sell the non-stock parts, and replace it with the stocked spec ones. Just like the shock and spring and mags. Because they're all worn out, specially the shock, it's all dead now.
