3 row SUV recommendations

I currently have a 2020 Chevy Blazer that I purchased in June 2020. With one child and another on the way, I've come to find out the cargo space is not large enough. I previously drove a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that had 285000 miles on it before the transmission went out. I had that vehicle from 2002-2020.

I'm currently looking at purchasing another vehicle again and the Toyota/Lexus 3rd Row options are nice but the used prices on those are still high.

Are there recommendations for any other used SUVs that have close to Toyota reliability?

I'd go for a Highlander hybrid. It'll last you forever (related to the Prius), and with gas prices you'll be thanking yourself youre not getting 15 MPG.

Nothing modern comes even close to the 4Runner

Honda’s Pilot had a lot of transmission issues, and the Toyota Highlander is just too complex (unless you’re looking for a hybrid).

The first Lexus car that comes to mind is the RX, but it was recently refreshed and it has a new and unproven powertrain (the same one as the Toyota Crown Cross) - the old one used to be quite good.

4Runner, Highlander, Sequoia would be a top choices in terms of potential long term reliability.

The Pilot would also be a choice, assuming Honda and ZF solved the 9Speed transmission problem. It’s been more than 5 years, so they should have a fix by now.

The Mazda CX-9 would be my personal preference because I like the styling and interior, although the reliability and longevity might not be as good as Toyota.

A Blazer is already a large vehicle. Imagine how people lived before SUV's, or people in Europe right now. Maybe you can downsize the amount of crap you haul around with you.
