  • Hi Scotty, I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla CVT automatic with 81,000 Miles that I purchased from a reputable local dealership Deskins Motors in Campbellsville, KY. it it appears in the Carfaqs that the previous owner hadn't had it serviced for transmission fluid change would it hurt anything to have it changed now? Fluid still is a normal colour.

No harm. Change it.

Change it, drain and fill.

Thank you. Take care.

After you drain and fill, from that point onward just change every 30,000 miles on those CVTs to make them last as long as possible.

Thank you very much and will do. That all data site looks like a Great wealth of knowledge.

I would definitely get the subscription, very affordable plans especially if you buy the 5-year plan. It has helped me a ton and other mechanics/members here recommend it too!

Appreciate it. Putting in the preventative maintenance is always the more cost effective option I'll definitely get a lot of use out of it.
