98 Camry V6 for $900?

Should I buy a 1998 Toyota Camry XLE V6 with 175,000 miles for $900? It only needs an alignment. Need a good reliable car and this seems to be my best option. I am also considering a 2003 Acura CL Type S with the 5 speed auto. I think I've ruled out that car because they have tons of transmission problems. My family also currently has a 2004 Honda Accord EX-L V6, to anyone who has driven both vehicles, 1997-2001 Camry V6 and 2003-2005 Accord V6, how do they compare in driving dynamics?

That is a great deal bring it to a mechanic to make sure everything else is fine and if it is then snatch it up!

(camry xle x6)

Between those, get the Camry. From riding point of view, Camry gives you a smoother ride compared to the Accord.

I have owned that same 98 V6 XLE Camry for almost 20 years and I have to say they are very reliable.  This car has power at 194HP and working on this car is a breeze.  Many of the parts such as starters and alternators are right on top of the engine.  The spark plugs easily go on without having to remove the intake which is not the case with many 6 cylinder engines.  It has power seats and power windows.  This car does not have a cabin air filter, so don't tear up your car looking for it like this youtuber did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbL_CvGvfHo   The only downside I see is the idle air control valve and the throttle body need a good cleaning about every year, otherwise, your car will start and die; and giving it gas while starting will work, but it will idle low at about 300rpms.  So be sure and clean that out every year or every two years at most.  This video is a good source on how to clean it out. #372 Better repair method Toyota Camry Idle Air Control Valve - YouTube

Yep, currently waiting to sell a pos 2005 Chevy Malibu 2.2 before I can buy that Camry. Hope it doesn't get sold!

Put some down payment to keep the car.
