Scotty! 

Mayday! while driving my 2010 A4 the STOP ENGINE OIL PRESSURE LOW light came on. I was pretty far from home and just about at work. Car ran fine - checked the oil and it was fine (just had it changed a few weeks ago). Driving home, the light came on again - I thought I could make it home since I had driven with it to work. Car was running fine - no rough running, even idling at a light. In true NY fashion, I passed someone doing 40mph in the left lane and gunned the engine. That's when pandemonium broke loose at the garden. Engine stopped. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree, though all electric was working. Of course, this would have to happen in Yonkers. Car would not crank. Audi tells me I need a new engine. No other explanation other than it won't start ($175 for them to tell me what I already know). Thoughts? New Engine? Use it as a boat (very large one) anchor? Help?
