- Hey scotty i have a BMW X5 3.0 si 2008 that is smoking from under the hood and when you turn on the ac all the smoke is going everywhere it smells burnt and it has a rough idle also. when you leave it idling for 15 minutes it shuts off. also when you accelerate it doesn’t accelerate as it should do please HELP. thanks

Check the pcv value they are made from plastic and break ..

This is something I don't think we can walk you through... have you even read codes yet? Oil level? I'd find an Indy BMW mech in your area (ask at parts stores) to look at it? Also continued driving/attempts is likely damaging it more.
