The Toyota Sequioa is a solid vehicle, but you'll pay a pretty penny to own it, and they're gas hogs. Take any prospective used car to a trustworthy mechanic before you lay money out.
Actually, for a big SUV, Toyota Sequoia is the most logical choice when it comes to fuel mileage since it is a hybrid. For the same amount of money, I would actually consider getting a Lexus TX500h instead since you are already looking at hybrids. It's a bit smaller, but still has a third row and plenty of room inside.
