Topic starter

I was looking for a compact SUV and finalized to go with MAZDA CX5, a local dealer offerd a 2019 Mazda cx-5 grand touring 43k miles( clean carfax with minor accident) for 25k dollars including Tax, should I go for it or looking to RAV 4, CRV or Tuscon. I am a recent graduate with my first job, so not gonna spend so much on car. Could please give your valuable advise.

Thank you,

Pass on it.  That is too much!  Plus the Grand Touring has the 2.4L I4 with Cylinder Deactivation.  You don’t want that for long term if you care about it lasting you.  The other engine choice (turbocharged I4) has tendency to burn oil.  Just pass!

.

I just went to Toyota’s website and built a brand new Toyota RAV4 for $29,625.  So for a few thousand more $ (than that used Mazda) you can get a brand new CUV that will also last longer.  Engine does not have cylinder deactivation, either.

.

Also, stay away from any and all Hyundai Motor Group products!

Thank you so much, which mazda do you recommend or trim

You can't trust Carfax because not everything is reported to them.

Price sounds way high but the used car market is still crazy. Be sure to have a good mechanic give it a thorough inspection before purchase.

If you decide to buy something else stay away from the Tuscon and other Hyundai/Kia products.
