C4 Lt1 Corvette weeping coolant external head gasket

I have a 1995 stock Corvette that has a tiny amount of coolant weeping from the back of the head on one side. The car has high miles, 180K, unknown history, seems to run quite well, no lights, codes or known issues otherwise. I have not decided what the long term plan will be for the car, but likely an eventual engine rebuild, new long block, or maybe LS swap. In the mean time, is it a bad idea to try Seal Up? It would be nice to putter around for the summer before digging into the engine over the colder months...

You could try it, but I wouldn't have high expectations as with that mileage it's due for a rebuild.

Thank you very much... someone once mentioned using Seal Up could complicate a future rebuild. I have no experience with it

I mean I've done rebuilds on motors that guys used it on. In my humble opinion, it shouldn't stop a good builder from getting the job done. It's a little extra elbow grease but not that bad. Now, I am typically against additives just because they are band aid fixes and I like to apply permanent fixes instead. At least you recognize that it likely won't work and you aren't putting all your eggs in one basket. Would I use it personally? No. But it's not like using it will destroy your block or something.
