Nothing is going on with my car at all as a matter of fact it's running the best it has ever run...I just replaced both camshaft position sensors and cleaned the mass air flow sensor on my 2008 Chrysler Sebring LX 2.4L as I had a P000B code on my scan tool. I cleared the check engine light. The car was hard to start at first but started after a few try's I drove the car for 20 minutes in total. In that time the cars check engine light flashed on and off and the car hesitated a couple of times when I stepped on the pedal. I stopped a few times and gave it wide open throttle. It seemed to run a lot better at that point. I had driven the car about 15 minutes at that point. I stopped the car another 2 more times and did wide open throttle from a stand still and the car squealed the tires. WOW this car is only a 2.4L . The car has 99,890 K on it. The cars check engine light is staying off now and the cars runs the best it's ever run. It used to hesitate and doesn't at all now..... My question is: Was the cars computer relearning the newly installed camshaft sensors when it was tuff to start and flashing the check engine light as I was driving it with new parts....Also car now starts up with a flick of the key. I'm happier then a pig in sht....These sensors were not the easiest to install like they showed after watching a install video. Sorry for the long winded question but I wanted to give you as much info as possible. THANKS Jeff
Yes it can relearn but really when I work on those I use my fancy computer and do a relearning process through the computer which works best
