Hi Scotty,
I have a 2007 Toyota Sienna with 300k miles on it. I was thinking of upgrading it to a 2021 Sienna. I use my van to tow my boat and launch it in Saltwater. Seeing as the new Sienna are all hybrid, will it damage the electrical/battery system by partially submerging the back tires in saltwater? The salesman at the dealership (Bev Smith Toyota in Ft Pierce, FL)assured me it would not cause any more damage to a hybrid than it does to a conventional gas Mini-van.

just the wheels? No.
All the electrical stuff is up in the body.

Unless you plan on a deep launch, you should be fine. If you're going to drive it in up to the tops of the wheel wells, I wouldn't.
And if you are, you're doing it wrong for the record.
