I have a manual 2008 Nissan Versa with 170k miles on it. My genius self would occasionally drive my vehicle on E and at times run out of fuel. One day when this happened and after fueling up, my car started having problems going over 60mphs. It hesitates to pick up speed and makes farting and popping sounds (haha) and at times feels like it wants to stall. My MPG is horrible now. I estimate about 20miles per gallon on the highway ! Before all this my engine would shake and rattle the whole car after shifting every gear (more on the lower gears). Please help 😖
Well many things can do that, but if you keep running it on Eve that burns the fuel pump out. So I would replace the fuel pump and a fuel filter first. It could be that simple
