I have a 2015 kia soul + automatic with 95100mil. Its not the best car ever but i wanna pay it off before i ditch it. The christian bros auto repair wants to charge me 2800 for the parts and repair. I found the part for 500 or so and was wondering how to find someone to put it in for another 500 and save myself 1800 bucks. Should i keep fighting the good fight or call it quits? Thanks guys.

If you want to replace the cat, you should price around. Look for muffler shops. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you need the cat replacement before doing the job. The mileage on your car is not that much for a new catalytic converter.

If you really need a new cat, shop for an buy it yourself, then find a muffler shop to install it.
