Hi all,
I have a Mercury Grand Marquis w/ 122K miles with the code B2434 (Drivers Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit short to ground) that I've scanned with the Bluedriver, but the app didn't offer any type of suggested fixes. The airbag light comes on 4/5 times I start the car. Is there something I could do to fix this, or should I take this to my mechanic as I am fairly not handy. I couldn't find much about this code searching through the web or through the forum. Thank you in advance. {black}:formalsmile:

It appears the seat switch may be shorted. Check the switch and wiring as well as connections.
Stupid question. If the seat switch is shorted, would that alter the function of the adjustable mechanism? (Lumbar, move forward/recline, etc)?
