Constant turning off/on engine

I doordash full time in a 2010 Mazda 3 with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder. I take very good care of it but I definitely start the engine off and on constantly when I sit so that I don’t burn fuel while idling. I also shut it off when I go inside and get food so that it doesn’t get stolen. Will this constant turning off and on eventually wear my engine out much quicker? I know the starter could wear out but how about the engine? I give it synthetic oil and I never neglect my car.

What I mean by sitting, I don’t mean sitting in traffic. I mean just parking when I’m not moving around and waiting for orders. Off course I don’t shut off when I’m stopped at a light. I just shut off the engine when I park and wait for an order.

When an engine starts, it gets the most wear cause the oil isn’t being pumped properly at that time.

its not recommended on cars that have start/stop functionally and especially on one’s that don’t!

this will wear out your engine about 10 times faster then regular use.

Avoid doing this, it accomplishes absolutely nothing.
