Where did you get this information? Here's CR's latest rankings.Biased Reports by Consumer Reports. They have Hyundai and Kia walking on water

Here's an article explaining why Toyota's ranking fell. There's no mention of a Korean brand's ascension.

@Crown752 I didn't notice any ascension of the Korean brands from where they were in previous years. However, the decline in reliability by the other manufacturers is notable. (GM, Ford, Chrysler, VW, etc)
Were they ever uphill?
Biased Reports by Consumer Reports
Consumer Reports can sometimes provides unsound advice. They rate unreliable cars as Car of The Year. They act like they are pay-to-play

Agreed. Scam.
I used to sell Rainbow vacuum cleaners because they were amazing. They filter the air through water, the only vacuum that used water at the time, due to a patent on it..
Consumer reports made a test of all vacuum cleaners, testing which ones would pick up the most "dirt" out of carpet.
They rated the Rainbow as horrible because it appeared that it didn't pick anything up. What they had done, was use talcum powder instead of dirt or sand, which does not adhere to water! So the rainbow would suck it up, but spit it right back out, and the vacuum would weigh the same, appearing to not have picked anything up.
Why in the world would they ever use talcum power for the test, well they got sued and lost because it was evidently so that the rainbow would look bad.
I don't trust Consumer reports at all because of many stories like this.
Was there ever a time to take Consumer Reports seriously?!
Thanks
