The headliner for my household's 2004 Mazda B2300 pickup truck is sagging below the driver-side visor. (For the record, the pickup in question has an automatic transmission, and it has about 81,000 miles on it.) What would be a cost-effective way to address the issue? Would it be a good idea to put in Saggy Stoppers? Does the gentleman in this video give sound advice? Here is a photo I've taken of the sagging headliner in question:

I mean ... if you like the look of rusty staples in your headliner ...
He even says in the video that everything he does is a short term solution. In other words, just to keep it from hanging in your face until you replace it.

MountainManJoe, is permanently fixing a sagging headliner really that expensive? Keep in mind that I'm on a fixed income.
alright , I'll look it up for you ...
quick Amazon search for universal headliner ... $20 per yard
1 can of 3M headliner adhesive ... $17
That took less than a minute.
The rest of the expense is your time and energy
Removing the glued on old foam is the only thing that will slow you down.
Those "Saggy Stoppers" are just spiral upholstery tacks that have been around forever. 😆
Well, Chuck, would YOU recommend "Saggy Stoppers" to at least temporarily address the sagging headliner? Keep in mind that I'm on a fixed income.

I've had cars where they held up the headliner for years. It's ugly but works. Something to be careful of is that the heads on the "Saggy Stoppers"/tacks are small and can tend to rip the headliner, so some care is needed. I think you'll find the upholstery tacks are cheaper (50 for about $4.50 instead of what looks like maybe a half dozen or so for "Saggy Stoppers").
