I have this really dumb idea in my head. i want to put a honda k24 engine into a 1984 chrysler new yorker, and i need an idea on how realistic this is, i know i would need the following (engine, transmission, ecm, tcm, axles, hubs, motor mounts, transmission mounts, shift link, intake, exhaust, and wiring) i cant think of anymore off the top of my head

Well with enough time, money, and custom fabrication you can do just about anything.

It's your imagination lol.

For extreme custom jobs, copious quantities of beer are known to help.

Popping off beers is a good substitute for nitrous lol

It's kind of interesting that you want to put a reliable Honda engine into a Chrysler. IMO, it's going to cost a lot of money to change a bunch of parts.

Depends on if you are asking a shop or doing the work yourself. I'm currently in the R&D stages of putting a electric swap in my 1987 bmw. Of course I don't have the time right now but if you are serious about it I would say 95 percent is preparation and research, especially if it's never been done before. Consider your options, and how much custom you would need, like for example driveshaft will probably need to be custom made, if you were to use a different transmission, an adapter plate. Custom computer probably, haltech or something. My current budget with everything I have so far is about 22ish thousand not including the price I bought my car for or the amount of effort I'm going to put in myself to build it from literal scratch, there is only one other person that I found for example that built an electric e30.
