Dealing With Back Yard Mechanic

Recently, I received a medical diagnosis of cancer. This cancer is actually a "side effect" of the rather dangerous drugs I must take for another disease, which has no cure and is a genetic condition.  Anyway, during my most recent 5 days in the hospital, I found that you have provided a great deal of solace in your videos to someone who is quite literally unable to get into the garage.  I just wanted to let you know that you are not only helping people with their car issues.  At least in my case, you have provided a wonderful outlet during a time that is neither pleasant or without a great deal of pain.  In fact, during some periods that were very much unbearable, I knew that once the hard time began, it would soon end and I could count on some wise advice about mechanical issues.  Being a "back yard mechanic", it has been great to know that in a short time I would be able to watch a truly honest man pass on some valuable knowledge that would help me with that hobby I so love.  I look forward to once again be able to get some grease on my hands.  For this I must say thank you.  I don't think you will ever really know just how your teaching have touched another, bring hope to a situation many others might say has no hope.  Well, YOU have brought a great deal of hope to this listener, and for that I thank you.  I hope that God blesses you, and can only say you have been a true blessing to me.

Oh, I am sure they did watch you.  You make things funny too, as a side benefit.  I am 58 years old old, and do the legal, tax and accounting work for company retirements plans.  (Business has and continues to be rather good for us.  My wife and I own the business.)  In short, assisted living or hospice is not something I care to even consider, but I guess we will have to see going forward.  I intend to work for as long as I physically can, but the doctors seem to be giving me really depressing news lately.  Today was exactly that type of day.  Oh well, the good Lord gives us talent and skills, so it is up to us to properly use these gifts.  I just wanted you to know that your gift has been a true blessing to many of us who are still fighting the good fight.  What I don't want to do is clog up your system with something that is so off topic.  What I do want to make clear is that you have helped people in ways you probably didn't even consider.  Take care, and again, thank you!

Oh yeah, bring this back to topic, I bought my daughter a used Camry which has served her well.  My personal vehicle is a 2006 Honda Ridgeline that still has the new car smell (88K mostly highway miles.)  .  My wife has a 2017 Ridgeline.  I also have 2 Honda TRX 450's (racing quads) that I heavily modified, a Honda TRX 250 Honda for tricks, a Yamaha Wolverine (wife's with mud winch), a Honda CRF 450, and a Honda wood chipper.  (I do have a 4.5 acres MX track.)  I guess you could say I do like my Hondas!
