Drag after transmission fluid change

Looking for some mechanical help. I’m the original owner of my f150 so I know how it drives. I recently had the dealer change the fluid in my transmission, transfer case, and front/rear differentials. Now it feels like a I have a lot of drag or like I’m pulling something. Seems to be switching gears fine, no odd noises, it just feels heavy.

I’ve let the dealer know, but they just told me that it could happen with new fluid in the rear diff and it will improve as that oil breaks down. That seems silly to me, but it’s been 3k miles since the fluid change and still the same drag.

My fuel economy went down also. Averaged 16mpg prior to the service, now I’m averaging around 14mpg post service.

Thanks for any advice on what I should tell the service advisor.

2010 F150 FX4, 5.4L V8

automatic 6 speed transmission

Service done at 126k miles.
Previous transmission only fluid change at 50k miles.

Thanks for any help!!

Going to the dealer was a mistake. it didn't drive like that when you first got the truck brand-new, why would it start doing that now? They want you to buy a new vehicle from them, not maintain the one you have already. When I changed the differential fluid in my old Ranger 2 years ago, it drove exactly the same. The dealer is trying to pull a fast one on you, get a trusted, independent mechanic to check it out. Never go to dealers unless you have warranty work that needs done. There are much better-quality mechanics out there than the dealership's mechanics.
