I have a 95 Ford F-150 xlt 4x4 with the 302 5.0 in it and when I start it up it will fire right up but sometimes it will sound like it’s missing for a bit then quit or it will do it going down the road.
What is "missing for a bit" and "quit"? Are you saying that your vehicle is stalling? What is the mileage?
Well that all they could have all kinds of problems but always start with a simple things spark plugs spark plug wires air filter fuel filter and then pray if it still acts up that it's something relatively simple like a bad mass air flow sensor you can check all that stuff with the good scan tool if you know how to use it
This is a pre-OBDII vehicle. For this old an engine I would change out the PCV valve and replace the most likely crudded up EGR valve.
