I have a 2002 Nissan Almera with the GQ18DE Engine.
I started noticing that my car jerks when I press the gas pedal and I hear this clunk each time i press it. It also feels like the car jerks forward and when i let go of the gas pedas it pushes back. It doesnt accelerate smoothly unless i do it slowly.
I got the idea that maybe the engine mounts maybe bad and i checked it. I held the brake pad down while letting go of the clutch to the point of the engibe almost stalling out and I noticed the engine rocks forward and backwards inside the engine bay.
And also I can feel the engine vibrations at idle inside the car.
How can I fix this so the clunks and the jerks go away and the engine accelerates smoothly?

Well, replace your engine mounts. And while you’re at it, also check your transmission mounts.
When you say doesn’t accelerate smoothly, do you mean misfiring/hesitating or just clunking due to the bad mounts?
Its clunking as if its hitting something. It clunks when its about to stall or when i change gears and press the gas pedal right after. Its a lucky moment when i manage to change gears and feel like it happened smoothly.
Are you still on your original factory clutch? Any trouble codes?
I bought the car used and I havent checked the clutch. I was gonna replace the clutch and tighten the manual stick after I change the engine and the transmission mounts. The car is at 127k miles
Have it inspected by a reputed mechanic, before you replace anything. You need a thorough diagnosis first, before you start changing parts.
from what that vid shows i would say you have engine/transmission mounts gone "soft". rubber in the mounts could have tears in them causing the engine/transmission to move as the mounts are flexing due to the rubber deteriorated.
