Please am new here want to ask what could be the issue of my (toyota avalon 2006 model automatic )shifting from a higher gear to a lower gear ie from gear 2 to gear 1 while accelerating
No issue. All automatics downshift when accelerating hard, when the current gear cannot produce enough torque.
Its a big issue for me cos when acceleration from 1 to 2 immediately getting to gear 2 ot drops back to one and almost becomes unable to move that my biggest worry so I need help
And when I scan for the issue I get 2 error codes p0776 and p0746
I don't know those codes. What do they mean?
Its saying transmission solenoid b stuck off thats what the code says or you can look it up via Google error code p0776 toyota
I would take it to transmission specialist
This is due to a stuck solenoid caused by dirty ATF. Try replacing (not flushing) the ATF.
