GM is not telling us the truth

Today I read that in newer GM vehicles… the ticking is normal? Due to mechanical debris in the buildout? Wow. Unbelievable. No accountability. How does a brand new vehicle have to have a normal ticking and why? I’ve owned 5-6 brand new vehicles to include Cadillacs and Tahoe. None ever ticked. But on a 2026 I’m supposed to believe or think this is normal? I haven’t had an oil change. I have less than 300 miles. Folks, they are really not caring what customers do or feel about what they’re not doing. This is beyond sad. You make announcements like this when you know the company will be saved as it has before. Sad

I'm not really sure what you're referring to.  Certainly GM has their share of truck problems right now (much much worse problems... I'm talking about entire engines blowing apart and having to be replaced), but I haven't heard anything about ticking. But modern fuel injectors tick pretty loudly. That's just a result of the thousands of lbs of pressure they are valving.

The modern customer cares about fuel economy and gadgets. That's where the money is, and that's the market they're serving.
