Hello, I am prepared to buy a vehicle for the first time and i really want a truck because you never know when you need one, what would be a good first truck that is going to last me foreve without the headaches and stress of the gas guzzlers, i was thinging either Tacomas or Tundras but which ones better? What do you think i should get? Used? New?

If you don't want a gas guzzler then don't buy a truck. "You never know" isn't a very strong justification for requiring a truck. You will know if you need to own one. Otherwise, rent.
First time car ... get a Corolla. New/Used: depends on your budget. Live within your means.
