Hello Scotty I was wondering which you would recommend, a 2022 Toyota Corolla hatchback or a 2022 Honda civic hatchback. I plan to keep it for 15 plus years.
Either will last for that long so it really comes down to preference. Toyota is a little better than Honda so I would go with the Toyota.

Good luck!
You picked the good ones but I would go with Corolla.
Both are good vehicles. Toyota Corolla is a tiny bit more reliable than Honda Civic Hatchback. Honda Civic Hatchback has a 1.5 L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine in higher trim levels (EX-L and Sport Touring). For my preferences, I would choose the Honda Civic Hatchback.
My preference is for the 2022 Honda Civics with the K20C2 Engine. Probably one the last naturally aspirated Hondas you can get, since most of their lineup still has turbos. Make sure to clean the valves as part of your maintenance, to make it last as long as possible.
I just like the Civic overall package versus the Corolla. They just seem more fun to drive. Although the Corolla will probably less maintenance because no valves to adjust, and I believe they have dual injection so valve cleaning isn’t necessary.
