will settle for the GF 5 hence never seen special Oil for Jap cars before!!! Hahah didn't realise it existed
I will transition from the Castrol! 5w 30 or 5W 20 oil which I was using previously and can be expensive!
The manufactures recommended oil was
5W - 20!!! OR the least best choice 5W - 30
Castrol! 5W 20 oil is typically £39.99 on sale! Or much more usaly 😳 over here 🇬🇧
Hopefully doing this switch to the Japanese Oil GF 5 won't harm anything! And save me money and provide even better protection over the usual Castrol! Oil

What oil specification does Honda recommend? They make very good engines and their design engineers know what they are doing. I would just use an oil that has the Honda approval. My guess is that the car will have rusted away before that engine has any issues. 👍
