I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE AUTO 130k miles I’m up to date with my oil changes but I’m planing to keep my car for a long time. Any other things I should look out for besides the recalls? I’m debating if this car is rlly worth keeping or should I get a new car in 2 years. I have to get my cats fixed and cat gasket changed because it’s leaking I’ve been getting horrible mpg (15) can this be a sign of anything ?

Were you changing transmission oil often ?

With no check engine light or codes? How do you know that your cats are bad?

You should be getting more like 30 mpg, so the low gas mileage plus early failure of the catalytic converters are definitely a sign of problems. I think it would be a good idea to hook this one up to a scan tool to see what the fuel trim is (and why). Otherwise your replacement cats are going to go bad pretty quickly.
