I have a 2003 Infiniti i35, it has 204,000 miles on it. I recently took it to the shop and the only thing wrong with it was the catalytic converter, but the mechanic said it was not a huge concern YET, and there are no symptoms other than the rattle noise, how long before I would have to replace it?

when it disintegrates inside, or you get poor engine performance, or you get a warning messages about it.
(or when it's stolen)

Replace it now, or just wait for it to get stolen.
