I ran into a snag swapping my 2010 Prius Engine! Help!

OK, Today I finally got the new engine completely install and ready to start. BUT!

The car still thinks the old engine is in my car and has permanent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P3190, P0301 and P0101.

Is there a trick to clear the permanent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) maybe pull a fuse? I tried the disconnect the battery for 10 mins and that didn't work.

The car is basically preventing the engine from starting because it thinks the old engine is still in the car.

I tried verbally tell the car it has a not engine it just does not list like my daughter. (AKA Humor!)

I'm on a tight budget and can not aford a $350 scan tool.

Is there a cheap scan tool that can clear the permanent diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's)

Hopefully around $100 to buy.

Thank you in advance. This forum has helped me a lot via questions and searching post. Hear to stay!

Feel dumb but the hybrid orange disconnect switch thingy I forgot it has to be slide in to engage the battery.

If you do not have a high level scan tool to do that, find a mechanic and have him diagnose/clear the codes.

There is an older school method of shorting the pins on the PCM to fully reset the computer but I heavily caution it. Be sure to do your research as I myself am not familiar with the process, but I've seen it on the YouTube before.
