I have an automatic 2002 infiniti g20 with 212,000 miles. My ignition distributor went out on my car. I need help to know if a 2001 infiniti g20 distributor will fit on my car? I see some distributors online that say 2000-2002 infiniti g20 distributor for $200 and I've seen one that says 2001 infiniti g20 distributor for $100 on partsgeek.com. Both year model engines are exactly identical to my knowledge, so I don't see it being an issue but I want to know before I order. Please please help me and thank you in advance!
I also need a new crankshaft position sensor but I don't have any questions for that but it does state that the crankshaft position sensor fits 99-02 models I believe.
What broke on your distributor?

I'm not sure i was just told I need a new one so I'm trying to make sure a 2001 infiniti g20 distributor will fit on my 2002 infiniti g20.
Since the part numbers from carparts.com do not match the manufacture's part number (22100-7J401) I would say no. But if you are willing and able to return the part if it does not fit. I don't see the downside for trying the cheaper part (other than lost time).
