If I'm not wrong, only the modern Toyota Camry and Honda Fit use 0W-16 oil. When I go to an autoshop store like Autozone or O'Reily, they never have 0W-16 on the shelf either. So, is 0W-16 a rare oil? Do all mechanic shops have it?
I don't know about mechanic's shops but everybody (AutoZone, NAPA, O'Reilly, Advance) sells it where I live, which is a town so small the mice walk stoop shouldered.
Check your local Walmart, mine has it in stock and I'm not in a big town. They'll have the lowest price and they carry a ton of different oils. I get my Pennzoil Platinum oil there for $23 and change for 5 quarts vs over $40 at the auto parts stores. Same with my filters. Motorcraft filters are $10 at AutoZone and are $3.98 at Wally World. If they don't have any 0W-16 in-store, order it online for pickup a few days in advance. Consistently doing it may prompt the store to carry it.
If you couldn't find in local Walmart store, you can easily order it online.
It is everywhere here in Houston, but then again we are pretty much the oil capital of America. {black}
It is rare with respect to the other weights, but it is not unobtanium.
