I don't think I'd want to drive that thing all the way from Buffalo to Florida. I must confess though that when I was college age I took some real heaps on long trips. (Of course those were the days when dinosaurs and Studebakers roamed the earth and you could throw a toolbox in the back and be able to handle most breakdowns.)

Despite the bad market unless you can get everything on that car sorted out I would not take the chance, and even then I'd think twice about it.

I would cordially agree with your mindset; however, I do respect the engine of the 07 Lucernes and I’m wondering if it is also worth keeping if I got it transported to Florida opposed to driving it down there. Obviously, this is under the condition I get it fixed properly.

If you can have it transported to Florida that would be another matter, with the issues fixed it should be OK for local driving. Car transport isn't cheap though and there are some fly-by-night carriers out there.

Thanks for the advice!
