Would a used IS250 with a manual transmission be a decent car? I'm wanting a sedan but with a manual transmission. Thanks

Pass on the IS250.  See below (do a search on our forum for this topic next time):

Why not? Less maintenance cost if in good condition.

As people have said, the IS250 has carbon issues. Some people talk about oil catch cans solving the problem, but I don't know anything about that. One thing I can tell you as a IS220D owner, is I'd find out (go to Amayama.com or a site similiar that gives you the blow-up drawings of the car) where the fuel filter is.

Because as I think it's said in America: It's a bear to get to. They stuck that thing right ontop of the rear axle on my car, and I think they all share the same chassis up toi the IS350.

If I had known beforehand...
