Would a used IS250 with a manual transmission be a decent car? I'm wanting a sedan but with a manual transmission. Thanks

Why not? Less maintenance cost if in good condition.
As people have said, the IS250 has carbon issues. Some people talk about oil catch cans solving the problem, but I don't know anything about that. One thing I can tell you as a IS220D owner, is I'd find out (go to Amayama.com or a site similiar that gives you the blow-up drawings of the car) where the fuel filter is.
Because as I think it's said in America: It's a bear to get to. They stuck that thing right ontop of the rear axle on my car, and I think they all share the same chassis up toi the IS350.
If I had known beforehand...
