Hey Scotty, just a week ago I bought a 2006 Lexus IS 350 3.5 L V6 with 122,000 miles. Before buying I took to a mechanic and had the car checked out. They scanned the car and no codes came up, the car does not have any codes of any sort or a check engine light on. I have noticed when the car is in high rpm’s it has a burning smell to it as well as a rotten egg smell. This only happens when accelerating hard from a complete stop, or going up steep hills. I realize it only has these problems when the engine is under stress. It also lets out a little bit of white smoke when revving the engine. When their is a rapid/hard acceleration smoke comes out of the exhaust, white and I have been told yellow colored smoke is very visible in those scenarios. Oddly enough after i bought it i took it to do a smog check and the car passed. The car constantly smells like gas inside the cabin so I might have an exhaust leak but what really concerns me is the smoke coming out and the bad burning and egg smells. It’s currently sitting in the shop getting checked out but they cannot find what’s wrong. I’d also like to mention the car does not idle rough, it runs smoothly even in highways and has no delay or jerkiness when accelerating, car runs strong, just the bad smells and smoke, witch makes me that much more confused on what my be wrong with the car. I would really appreciate some feedback! Thank you.
ps love your videos.

That's interesting, I would love to know what is wrong, cause my first guess would be the catalytic converter, specifically for the sulfer smell you are experiencing. But it passed smog? What state are you in? Lol here in Cali I would think that's a failer for sure. Evap and fuel system should be check if it really is not the catalytic converter.
Did you have the car checked by a mechanic before you bought it with a compression/leak down test? Or did they simply slap a code reader on it and tell you it was good? The gas smell inside the cabin has nothing to do with an exhaust leak, they smell different. There is a problem in the EVAP system, either a stuck solenoid or a saturated carbon canister or a bad gas cap or all the above.
Bad gasoline ? Check voltage under acceleration maybe its too high. or spark is bad ... I am guessing here.
