[Solved] long term fuel trim

hi i have a 2009 toyota hilux dual cab workmate with 2.7 l 4 cyl  330500 km  scan tool says -4.7 on long term fuel trim is this bad and  or what does it mean

Ideally you want zero (optimal mixture), or within a few points.

The negative sign means the computer is trying take away fuel. But this number is useless by itself.

ST & LT fuel trims must be analyzed in concert.

It means your engine is running a little too rich. Do Scotty's video, make your car run better with spray cleaner, change your air filter and maybe run a little fuel injector cleaner to see if it improves.
