Hi, I'm looking to buy a used 2008 Toyota Highlander with 200K miles for $6500. What are the common problems I should look for before buying and tell my mechanic to pay special attention? Is it a good price? Thanks.

I wouldn't pay that much, with 200k probably no more than $4500 and make sure to have a mechanic check it out.
Keep in mind 08 was the first year of the generation and had some kinks that weren't worked out yet.

All the sites I looked at show that oil leaks and rear hatch failures are common with this generation of Highlander.
