I am doing the lower front ball joints on my 2011 Durango Citadel AWD 5.7 Hemi.
Is there any consequences to cutting either the top of the ball joint or the nut off, it will just spin and I cannot get the nut off, even with a hex bit in the stud of the ball joint.

Well if you caught enough of it off you'd be able to just put a drip chisel in and just Hammer the rest of it out if you can't get it out otherwise
