Trying to take off the antenna of a 95 ram 1500 and everytime I unscrew the top part only a black part comes off that sides up and down but the actual antenna doesn’t come off. I’ve tried pliers and wire cutters and nothing is working. There’s also a nut holding the bottom part of the antenna on I believe can someone help

did you try removing the nut?

Try grabbing it by the antenna mast with your vice grips. The antenna itself, not the black part
