Are RAM vans good for a daily people mover? I've looked around at them and they seem to go for decent prices.

The key is that it is a people carrier you would be better off with a Minivan like a Toyota Sienna.

Also those Ram vans are European Fiats sold in the US through Fiat.

Well, that settles it. I've heard enough terrible things about those fiat poop boxes from Scotty. Thanks for the tip. I thought dodge made them.

Fiat owns all of Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, and Ram so even if Dodge manufactured it it is still made with Fiat components.

@kerem
No, Fiat does not own them. It was a merger with Chrysler, and the others are just subsidiaries.

yes I checked Dodge Jeep Ram those are "divisions" of Fiat. The point is that some of their vehicles have Fiat designs.

They can be okay, but the majority of those are meant to be used as cargo vans. For a regular family van, you will be much better off with a Toyota Sienna both for long term reliability and ease of daily use. Yes, the Siennas are more expensive to buy but they're well worth the premium.
