Hey. I have a 2020 Kia Forte GT-Line. Tonight on my way home. I ran over an armadillo. I was going about 60 mph. I have looked and looked I don’t see any damage. Even underneath. What I mean by underneath is just at the front and sides I looked underneath. It looks like my car has a plastic shield underneath my car. Is there anything I should look at to make sure? I think I ran right over it with one of the tires but I’m not entirely sure. Also I noticed another one of my rims is chipping. It’s not like curb rash because I mostly drive highway. I wonder if I should contact the dealer about it.
Put up your vehicle on a lift/Jack stands & check for any damage underneath. Although, odds are that nothing is broken.
If you think it’s a manufacturing defect, push for a warranty replacement.
Thanks. I figured nothing was wrong. But I was worried. And I was thinking about putting a warranty claim on the rims.
All the best.
Word of caution... armadillos can carry leprosy... avoid touching any blood left behind.
Wow, I didn’t know that!
