Rough grinding noise from below driver/passenger seat around 15-25 mph.

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2012 Honda accord ex-l with 68k miles and an automatic transmission. For the past couple of days, my passengers and I have noticed a strange noise coming from the car. When a car is at a stop and accelerates to about 15-25 mph (at around 2k-2.5k rpm) a very loud rough grinding noise comes from directly below the front of the car, which can be heard even if the windows are closed. The noise disappears after the initial 20-25 mph and does not return if I am driving at higher speeds on the highway or road. I checked under the car to see if any suspension parts were cracked and if everything is intact. The CV shaft or any rubber components do not have cracks or tears. The transmission and engine have a splash shield under them and I could not see any visible damage from the underside. No fluid leaks were observed from under the car. The grinding noise is not reproducible if I have the car in park and try to rev the engine. The rear brake pads and calipers, and front brake pads were replaced 2k miles ago by myself. The trans fluid was replaced 8-9k miles ago. The dipstick presented with a full and clean fluid reading as well. No rough shifts, slipping, and rough idle have been observed during driving. I take preventative maintenance seriously and have not missed on regular fluid changes since I purchased the car @ 55k miles.

I originally thought road debris was causing this but I think this may not be the case since the noise routinely disappears above 25 mph.

I appreciate any advice or input as to what this noise could be. Thank you for your assistance.

Can you please make a YouTube video of the noise & post the link here?

Does it make the noise at a stop? If so does it depend on the gear you’re in? for example it in N and D.

Hi, it does not make any noise at a stop. Also, it usually occurs at the first gear shift around the 20 mph mark mentioned

It might be one of the pulleys. If not, use this technique -
