Hi Scotty:
My car: 2010 Mazda Rx8 R3 model. 67k miles. No error codes.
my problem: clutch becomes spongy on cold weather(30F). Is it normal because of the cold or a sign of wear?

You mean the clutch pedal feels spongy right? It's probably time to replace the hydraulic fluid in the clutch master cylinder and bleed out the system. It shouldn't feel spongy in cold weather. Cold weather exacerbates the spongy effect due to air bubbles separating from the fluid in the system. As the car/hydraulic fluid warms up, the air bubbles get absorbed by the fluid making it feel more firm after a while. The clutch's hydraulic system is very similar to the brake's hydraulic system (if not, the same).
