I have a 2007 Ford Fusion with 140,000 miles automatic. I think I have a problem with my suspension. Every time I hit a pothole my steering wheel shakes left to right. Also when I brake at higher speeds may be around 60 mph my steering wheel shakes. The brake rotors were replaced in March 2021 along with the brakes. I replaced the upper control arm bushings, stabilizer bar links, front lower and rearward controls arms. My car steering is still. shaking, I don’t know what else to do.
Hi, welcome to the forum! I would suggest that you change your username to something other than your email. You can access this setting in the "My Profile" section. You don't want to expose your email address.
Was this vehicle in any previous wrecks? When was the last time you had wheel balancing & wheel alignment performed?
The car hasn’t been in any wrecks. The wheels were balanced may be two or three years ago, the last time I had a wheel alignment was last year.
You need to inspect the front end suspension. A good alignment shop can be a good help.
