Hey Scotty!

I have a 2008 Lexus RX 350 FWD, 113,800 miles.  I want to know if there's anything I need to do at all with the current short and long term fuel trim readings:

  • Short term fuel trim Bank 1 - 0.0%
  • Long term fuel trim Bank 1 - 5.5%
  • Short term fuel trim Bank 2 - 0.0%
  • Long term fuel trim Bank 2 - 5.5%

Thanks,

Omar

Is your gas mileage affected?

I don't think my gas mileage has been affected that I can tell. 🙂

Well short-term is fine long-term it's just adding some fuel that's pretty normal and an old vehicle like that but you might try having your fuel injectors pressure clean dirty injectors could do that and also have the mass air flow sensor cleaned and check for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold system

Thanks Scotty!

I cleaned the MAF sensor not too long ago, but I can certainly address the fuel injectors and vacuum leaks. Much appreciated!
