Should a brake pedal make noise when just pushing it when car is off?

I just bought a used 2018 Chevy Cruze LT Red color with 90k miles on it from the Chevorlet dealership.  It runs good but a bunch of stuff that the dealer has to fix before the 3 months period is over.

So one thing I noticed is when the car is off and im parked, when i just press on the brake pedal, I can hear it.  Anytime I just push on it and let go, i hear it moving.

Is this normal?

well the pedal is a moving part, connected to other moving parts, so I would expect it to make some noise when you push it in, right?

It might help if you tell us WHAT you're hearing, or even show us in a video.

Well yes but it sounds loose. On any other car when I put my foot on the brake pedal, i hear an air noise which is normal. When I push on my Cruze, I hear the mechanical part towards the passenger side make a noise also.

Mind you, this is all when parked. I think its loose

then tighten it

What do you mean when you say you "hear it moving"? Are you hearing a hissing noise accompanied by a gradual stiffening of the brake pedal? If so, that's totally normal. You shouldn't hear noises that sound like rubbing.

Just squirt a little WD40 on the shaft the pedal is mounted to or grease it if there is a zerk fitting.
