Should I buy a 2007 chevrolet suburban 150k miles , runs and drives ok, if I use a disabler for the afm, will it be ok,as far as the lifter issues that they have?

No, I wouldn't buy one. That is just around the time the quality of those fell, and at the start of the generation you can expect many quality issues. Even if you disable the cylinder deactivation, the hardware itself would still be present, one more thing to go wrong.

They are asking 10k but that is cheap for my area. I have found some Ford Expedition  for around that price and mileage but then again the 5.4 has issues too. I need to find something that can haul 7 passengers for around 10k.


Would you be able to get a Toyota Sequoia? What about a minivan like the Toyota Sienna?

 

For the amount of life left in the Suburban, 10 grand seems like a waste of money.
